KCQ’s 15th KARAOKE Competition at Zehnder’s Snowfest is Friday, January 25TH at 6:30 p.m. in the Warming Tent behind Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth.
This year’s event is sponsored by HAP and Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort

GRAND PRIZES:

ADULTS – OVERNIGHT STAY AT SOARING EAGLE CASINO AND RESORT, WITH TICKETS TO CONCERT OR SHOW OF YOUR CHOICE.

You must be 18 years of age or older. This is a solo competition.   Five finalists will be selected by 98 KCQ Air Staff.   HOW TO ENTER:

FINALISTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON AIR between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2019, with Jim Kramer and the Q Morning Crew

Official KCQ/Zehnders Snowfest 2019 Karaoke Contest Rules

  • Staff persons, or their immediate family (parents, spouse, siblings, children) of MacDonald Broadcasting Company, other broadcast facilities, or sponsoring clients, are not eligible to participate.
  • Must be 18 years old with valid identification to enter in the adult division.
  • Must be 17 years of age or younger to enter in the junior division
  • MacDonald Broadcasting Company assumes no liability due to circumstances beyond our control; including but not limited to: prize provider going out of business or being sold, cancellation of event; or out of stock, discontinued items.
  • Any prize may be substituted with a prize of equal or greater value. Winner is liable for any taxes, tips or other miscellaneous charges associated with the prize.
  • Prize is non-transferable.
  • Five competitors will be selected for the adult division and five competitors will be selected for the junior division from all entries received by WKCQ between Monday, 12/17/18 and Thursday, 1/17/19 @ 12 Midnight.   Entries must include contact name, address, phone number, and email address as well as a CD, mp3 or video of you singing to a recorded track. All genres of music will be accepted
  • Absolutely no entries will be accepted after Thursday, January 19, 2019, at 12 Midnight.
  • Finalists will be announced on air at between 7-7:30 a.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019  during the Morning Show with Jim Kramer and Barb Sheltraw
  • Finalists must provide their own karaoke CD when they arrive at competition.  The 98 KCQ KAROAKE COMPETITION will take place inside the warming tent at Zehnder’s Snowfest, Friday, January 25, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.
  • Winner agrees that by accepting entry and a prize, they consent to the broadcast of promotion of their name, voice, and/or photo by WKCQ either on air, on station website, or in television or print advertising.
  • MacDonald Broadcasting Company reserves the right to cancel a contest at any time. Any and all rule changes will be announced and written copies made available at our offices as soon as changes are made.
  • These rules may be changed at any time at the discretion of MacDonald Broadcasting Company.

Decision of the judges is final.
